Personal Training involves individualised one-on-one coaching focusing on improving techniques and fine tuning skills to help you achieve your goals. Personal training is tailored to everyone across all ages and abilities, equipment and scheduling needs. Whether you are brand new to training and looking to improve your health and fitness or you are an experienced athlete and hoping to master high level weightlifting and gymnastics skills, the bespoke element of PT gives you enhanced attention for achieving your goals and keeping you motivated.
PT can be offered on its own or in parallel with Online Programming.

Efficiency and Pacing Techniques

During the PT session, we’ll focus on specific elements of your training to improve your techniques. For example if your goals are to improve your barbell cycling or one rep max, we will first spend time warming up your mobility with the bar and going through essential positions for the specific lift. We will then focus on technique improvement to both maximise your efficiency with the barbell as well as improve your maximum weights.

During the PT session, we’ll focus on learning new movements and skills and then applying these skills to workouts. If, for example, your goals are to become more fit or to lose weight, we will first start with learning and strengthening movements such as pushups, lunges and lateral jumps. Together, we will improve your strength by increasing the weights in safe increments as well as using bodyweight movements. These movements will be added to workouts that improve your cardiovascular endurance, stamina and overall fitness.

Intended for people who wish to follow individualised online programming, but also want one-on-one personal training to focus on specific skills or techniques. On this package, you may have PT 1-2 times a week to work on weightlifting or gymnastics skills and then follow your individualised online programming schedule for the remaining days. The other days of your online programming schedule will build on skills practiced in personal training. People often find that meeting face to face at least once a week is helpful for skill improvement and also keeps motivation high for progressing with online programming.
